NL Young Farmers and the NL Composting Co-operative are excited to collaborate on the upcoming composting workshop Farm Composting: Barriers and Opportunities.

 

When: Thursday, October 30, 2025

Where: O’Brien Farm, St. John’s, NL

 

Viviana Ramírez-Luna will provide an overview of the NL Composting Co-operative and explore the links between small-scale composting and farming before Aaron Rodgers discusses the composting initiatives at O’Brien Farm. Then we’ll open the floor for a conversation about barriers farmers experience with composting and how we can work together to overcome them. Networking opportunities, snacks, and refreshments will be provided!
